Waffee Plein grew from a Belgian-Mexican family's desire to share the waffle they know from home with Monterrey.

Who are we?
Waffee Plein is a small family business conceived and founded in Belgium, then brought to Monterrey, Mexico, to establish itself and open its doors to the public.
Our family consists of 3 Belgian-Mexicans and 1 Belgian.
Waffles were born in Belgium, but that does not mean they have to stay there!

Belgian waffle irons, pearl sugar, and Belgian chocolate are part of the process.
Local heart
Most ingredients are sourced in Mexico to keep the cooking close and fresh.

From a Belgian tradition to a table in San Pedro
Where it began
The family brought the recipes and know-how for two classics: the light Brussels waffle and the caramelized Liège waffle.
Arriving in Monterrey
At Metropolitan Center in San Pedro Garza García, the family idea found a place to share waffles and coffee.
